What is Performance Testing?
In Innovate and Transform projects, the Integration Validation phase is part of the go-live preparation and includes performance testing, interface testing and other technical system testing.
Good testing practices can help optimize quality, performance and scalability of end-to-end business processes for HANA migrations. With the SAP HANA environment representing a complex infrastructure, intense and rigorous testing is a must and a key success factor for running a multi-part framework. This testing approach includes a three-phase integrative process incorporating multiple requirements from testing and quality assurance.
Two levels of testing performance KPIs are recommended for HANA testing. Level 1 KPI testing is load and performance testing of key business processes. Level 2 KPI testing is the runtime behavior and resource consumption of HANA DB statements.
